On Monday, April 30 the Meriden Land Trust held its annual meeting. In addition to electing directors and officers for the upcoming year, Peter Picone discussed how to enhance the wildlife habitat that surrounds us. Mr. Picone is a Wildlife Biologist who works to preserve and protect the natural beauty that Connecticut provides. We would like to thank Peter very much for providing a wealth of knowledge to those in attendance. Learning about and understanding the environmental impact different plants provide to living creatures beyond ourselves was very enlightening. We hope everyone enjoyed the presentation and look forward to seeing you at the next meeting – Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in Room 28 at Meriden City Hall.
